A record-breaking penthouse sold in Dubai's Marsa Al Arab project
Dubai has set another tremendous record in the luxury real estate market as a penthouse in the Marsa Al Arab project was sold for 420 million dirhams ($115 million). This sets the price for premium housing at 17,000 dirhams per square foot.
The identity and nationality of the buyer have not been disclosed. The penthouse spans an area of 24,628 square feet and offers residents a private pool with panoramic views of the sea. Adjacent to it is a marina for super yachts. The project is scheduled for completion in 2023.
Marsa Al Arab is a new resort developed by the Jumeirah Group, designed in the shape of a futuristic super yacht. It will include 386 rooms and suites, 4 penthouses, as well as 83 luxurious hotel apartments nestled within landscaped gardens.
The hotel premises will house integrated wellness and entertainment centers and an impressive network of signature restaurants, including the concept of "4 restaurants in one."
Each room will offer a panoramic view of the sea. Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will delight guests with ten exclusive restaurants and bars designed by world-renowned designers.
