Dubai has been named the cleanest city in the world for the third time
According to the report by the Japanese Mori Memorial Foundation, Dubai has become the cleanest city in the world for the third consecutive time in the Global Power City Index rankings compiled by the organization. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, shared this news with his 11 million followers on social media. The Global Power City Index ranks the magnetism of major cities worldwide, meaning their ability to attract people, capital, and businesses from all over the world. In addition, the UAE ranked 10th in this index.
The United Arab Emirates also made it into the top 10 global leaders in the Global Soft Power Index based on the indicator of "soft power," which measures a country's ability to influence others through persuasion. In this ranking, the leaders are the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany. The UAE ranked 10th, becoming the Middle East leader, thanks to the World Expo 2020, which helped strengthen the country's influence in diplomatic circles, and the planned mission to Mars.
Additionally, the UAE has become one of the most generous countries in the world in terms of the volume of humanitarian aid provided, ranking third, and has also ranked third in terms of potential for economic growth. Furthermore, the UAE is preparing to host the Cop28 climate summit. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that "cleanliness is civilization. Cleanliness is culture. Cleanliness is part of faith."
