GalleryIn the first nine months of 2024, real estate sales in Dubai have nearly matched the annual figures of 2023. This indicates the stability and attractiveness of the market, which continues to draw the attention of both local and international investors.
In September 2024, there were 18,038 transactions — a new record for the month, surpassing the previous figure of 17,139 transactions set in May. Over 95% of all transactions involved residential properties, with 73% of sales related to properties under construction. The leading developer in this segment was Emaar, followed by Damac Properties and Sobha.
According to data from Property Monitor, the total number of real estate sales from January to September 2024 exceeded 131,000 transactions, which is only 2% less than the total for all of 2023. It is expected that in the remaining three months of 2024, the market will grow by nearly 30%, reaching a total of 170,000 sales.
Additionally, there has been a surge in mortgage activity: the number of transactions increased by 16.6% compared to the previous month. In September, nearly 4,200 transactions were registered, attributed to lower interest rates.
