Abu Dhabi Golden Visa now valid for 10 years
There is news about a new feature in the issuance of the "Golden Visa" in Abu Dhabi, which will now be valid for 10 years for all categories. This information was confirmed by Mark Dorsey, the Chief Operating Officer of the Abu Dhabi Residents Affairs Office.
Previously, depending on the visa category, the validity period ranged from 5 to 10 years. Now, all categories have the opportunity to obtain a long-term visa for 10 years. Qualified specialists, scientists, researchers, clergy, elite specialists in industry, healthcare, and education can apply for such a visa.
The requirements for obtaining a "Golden Visa" for qualified workers include:
- A labor contract approved in the UAE
- Providing evidence that the applicant holds a position of level 1 or 2 according to the MOHRE job classification scheme
- A verified bachelor's degree or equivalent
- A valid work license in the UAE or the Emirates for professions that require it
- A work certificate
- A salary certificate issued by the employer, as well as bank statements for the past 6 months. The bank statement must show a monthly salary of at least AED 30,000 (approximately $8,000)

- Multiple entry visa for 6 months to resolve immigration issues
- Renewable residency visa for 10 years
- Possibility of staying outside the UAE for more than 6 months
- Possibility to apply for a similar residence permit for your family members without limiting the number of relatives.
