New Madmoun service for verifying real estate sales and rental ads in Dubai
Dubai's Land Department continues to improve its services for its clients. The new service, called Madmoun, which was introduced in collaboration with the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, will allow Dubai residents to quickly verify real estate sales and rental ads using a QR code.
This new intelligent service will not only streamline the housing search process but also protect clients from fraudulent ads. To use the service, all one needs to do is scan the QR code, which will now be included in the print and audiovisual advertising of all real estate companies.
Madmoun is also complemented by the DLD website, where more detailed information about ads, including the status and characteristics of the property, can be obtained.
This new service aligns with Dubai's Land Department strategy aimed at improving the real estate sector in the emirate using new technologies. Madmoun also aligns with the DLD mandate aimed at achieving the goals of Dubai's Economic Development Plan "D33", creating new economic value through digital transformation, and strengthening Dubai's position as a global capital of the digital economy.
The number of real estate transactions in Dubai continues to grow, with over 2,200 transactions registered last week alone, totaling over AED 11 billion. The sale of land plots and villa apartments made up the majority of these transactions, indicating further growth in the emirate's real estate market.
